It’s always helpful to refer to a finished garment measurement table when trying to determine the best size to make.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC: 1.5-2.1m (1-2¼ yds) Woven fabrics like cotton poplin, cotton twill, cotton seersucker, linen, light denim, bamboo twill, cotton flannel, tencel twill, etc.

The fabric requirements apply to fabrics with a width of 140-150 cm so it may be necessary to redo the pattern placement for fabrics of different widths and designs (striped, plaid etc).
